These pages cover carsoft.ai, the dealership software at app.carsoft.ai, and the CarSoft apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, operated by Cacele Digital, LLC.
The software needs its session cookie to keep authenticated users signed in.
Public dealership pages use first-party visitor and visit identifiers.
The app can retain the same cookies and preferences as the web workspace.
This notice applies to carsoft.ai, app.carsoft.ai, public dealership pages hosted by CarSoft and the persistent WebView inside the native apps. Cookies are small browser values; local and session storage hold preferences. See our Privacy Policy.

The three named cookies are HTTP-only, use SameSite=Lax and are marked Secure in production. The session cookie expires after seven days and is set again on sign-in. Analytics identifiers are random browser identifiers, not names or advertising IDs; the analytics endpoint renews their lifetimes on accepted events. Browser policies may expire or remove storage sooner. Cookie expiry does not itself delete analytics records stored on the server.
The marketing website does not currently load Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics or an advertising pixel, and does not set the CarSoft software session or dealership analytics cookies itself. Public dealership pages use cs_vid and cs_sid for first-party reports on views, interactions, referral/campaign sources and approximate country, region and city derived from network headers. These identifiers are not used for cross-company advertising tracking. Analytics storage is distinct from essential sign-in storage; calling it first-party does not make it necessary or exempt it from applicable consent rules.
Cloudflare Turnstile loads on protected software signup and public dealership forms to detect bots; it processes technical browser information and verification tokens. YouTube content uses youtube-nocookie.com embeds, OpenStreetMap maps load from their provider, and Stripe checkout runs on Stripe-hosted pages. These services receive network-request information when loaded and may use cookies or similar storage under their own policies. Privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds do not mean no information is disclosed. CarSoft does not maintain a fixed inventory of storage controlled by these independent services. The marketing site serves its own font and image assets; page views do not request Google Fonts or Pexels images. Hosting infrastructure processes requests and security logs, but this notice does not assume that an unspecified Vercel routing cookie is always set.
Browser settings can block or clear cookies and website storage. Blocking carsoft_session prevents authenticated software and app features from working. Clearing app browser data removes the local sign-in session and cached preferences, not your server-side account or dealership records. Uninstalling the app does not cancel billing or delete your account.
Use device settings to manage app permissions. Contact hello@carsoft.ai for help with cookie and privacy choices. Where local law requires consent for optional storage, that storage must not be enabled before valid consent. This notice is a description, not a substitute for an in-product consent control.
The current public dealership analytics implementation does not include a separate accept/reject cookie preference control. Browser blocking or clearing storage is available, but clearing identifiers does not stop the site from creating new ones on a later permitted request. Where consent or an applicable opt-out is required, the software needs the corresponding control before optional technologies run. This notice does not supply or imply that control, and continuing to browse is not a substitute for consent where consent is required.
